Centrus Financial Strategies today announced it has been named Enterprise Business of the Year Award at the 22nd Annual Eagle Awards Gala, hosted by the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida. The award recognizes businesses that demonstrate exceptional performance, leadership and impact within the Central Florida community.
Held on March 28, 2026 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, the Eagle Awards Gala honors outstanding Black-owned businesses and leaders across multiple categories, spotlighting their contributions to economic growth and community development in the region. As Enterprise Business of the Year, Centrus Financial Strategies was recognized for turning vision into reality, demonstrating remarkable growth and a clear path to continued success.
"What makes our company different goes back to when I worked for larger financial institutions, and I found that there, people were just a number. But I really wanted to be an advocate for my clients," said Jude Wilson, Chief Wealth Strategist® of Centrus Financial Strategies. "Because at the end of the day, you're more than just a number, you're on a life journey. So we try to work with people on this journey and be their advocate."
Since its founding in 2009, Centrus Financial Strategies, a wealth management firm, has served clients by aligning life goals and wealth goals. They have grown from two team members to nine and have expanded their footprint in Central Florida by opening offices in Orlando and Bradenton, Florida.
